Direct Composite in the Anterior, Part 1: The Science of Composite and Shade Matching

In this first course of a two-part series, the clinician will learn how modern resin composites allow for predictable and esthetic results that rival those of indirect full-coverage restorations. Dr. Vargas reviews the optical properties of tooth structure and how to apply that knowledge for optimal shade matching and composite stratification. He will also provide a hands-on demonstration, walking the clinician through the creation of their own custom shade guide for chairside use.
